Local Planet has been awarded the Julius Meinl business across Austria, Romania, Croatia, Germany, and Italy covering media and social.
Founded in 1862, Julius Meinl is one of the oldest coffee roasters in the world and an iconic Vienna coffee house brand. Their premium coffees and teas are sold in 70 countries around the world promoting Viennese coffee house culture.
Local Planet will help accelerate the development of a strong consumer facing brand to support their existing B2B operation. They will also draw on their local expertise to develop media strategies that reflect the different challenges and market differences that Julius Meinl faces across their key markets.
In addition to the media business Local Planet has been awarded the social business across 8 markets: Austria, Italy, Croatia, Romania, Germany, Poland, Slovenia and Serbia. The task is to develop an Annual Central Social Media Campaign and to help drive efficiencies by improving measurement and ways or working.
