
Amsterdam, May 20th 2016 – Independent media agency Mediaxplain* is pronounced media agency of the year in The Netherlands. Last night, the agency was awarded during the 16th edition of the prestigious AMMA Awards, being the leading media awards in the Dutch communications sector.
Earlier this year Adformatie already pronounced Mediaxplain* as the highest valued media agency chosen by advertisers. Yesterday Mediaxplain* received the prestigious title of media agency of the year at the Annual Masters of Media Awards. The past year has been one for the books in the 15 year existence of Mediaxplain*. The media agency welcomed 22 new brands, introduced its open-7-days-a-week proposition and launched MXProductions (web development and creation) and MXProbe, the first fully transparent programmatic agency in the Netherlands.

Besides media agency of the year, Mediaxplain* and client Maxxium also won an AMMA for ‘Best Use Of Media’ (‘the oldest medium rediscovered’) for the brand Glenfiddich. A self-liquidating form of storytelling in a unique setting: the theatre.
